Haha yeah I guess you will be fixing another pair, not often you see solid terrano wings these days.
Ace a paint sprayer in the family, great stuff.
How did you fix the wings, did you fibre glass them or weld in new metal?

Welded them up. Used galvanised steel more so because it was free but also it won't rot that section as quick. It's a bit messy to weld but the end result is ok. Can take some pics of them fitted if that's what your looking for too?

Thinking about doing a similar repair, did you cut the new metal into strips to make the shape and contours?
I'll be using plain steel plate, galv is rather nadty when being welded.

Yea galvanised is abit scruffy to work with. Yea I kinda did cut different parts to get the right shape around the bottom edge and the lip. Stopping it from warping due to the heat and weld shrink is a challenge.

Welcome along Tim. I see the banter's started already :D
Nice fabing by the way.
I agree with using galvanised steel. I used to get sheets of the stuff when I fabricated FOC.
I found that a good grind back & changing discs frequently helped prior to welding. Then a quick spray of galv spray after cooling helped with rust.
