See if that works... what video shows is only idle. It's already running with fueling turned up. Second switch is it over fueling just to show I can up the fuel :-)

YouTube link as don't think photobucket works!
And a quick rev with fuel tweaked :-)

You've got my attention!!! I need to know more, the switch itself must have cost more than £1.49 :nenau
Are you on a Bosch or Zexel setup?
OK I lied a bit the switches cost effective £1.99 each but they aren't the mod... the mod is hidden and it's the bit that cost £1.49 :-) basically it's a switched tunit box all be it less refined
O and bosch set up but will be trialing on a zexel pump soon :-)

So when we drag racing? I'd still smoke you :naughty

More importantly when do we get to see the mod itself? :sly
I'm game for that....
:thumbs Better get to one of the meets matey boy
Have you done any road tests on it yet? what kind of improvments are we talking here?
I have my Powerchip on setting 9 of 11 and no smoke, if I have it on 11 my clutch slips :doh going to up it to 11 when my clutch does finally fail and I get the 3 litre Borg and Beck fitted

I never said I'd show anyone.... just wanted to prove it was possible. Also want run it myself for a while see if I have any problems

Improvement is like night and day! It honestly is I'm hoping to do some drive by videos today

Ah you're one of the secret brigade :doh
If it's something you've knocked up yourself did you have any problems getting it insured as a modification? :nenau
Nope not problem with insurance... explained what I've done and their happy :-) We all love a good secret... I might tell you once I've passed you :-) but no I want to run it on my own truck with no problems before I tell everyone and they point the finger if it causes issues....

Ah happy days then :thumb2
I can't say I'll win 100% without knowing what you've done so I'll keep schtum until I've heard/seen more, plus you're on standard hot wheels size tyres at the moment are you not? You may have an edge here :(
Good shout on testing though before other people do it and blame you for messing up their trucks, I respect that :thumb2
Im guessing just a crude version of the maf amp?
10k pot?

I'm on 265 75 16s that measure 32" with a tape :-)

I'm no where near the maf!!! And as for a crude version of it 90%of the people I speak to aren't that happy with maf amp... basically saying it lowers performance and increases mpg???

I can't comment as I've never driven a motor with one fitted but from people I have spoken to that have had one fitted they have told me it's got more torque lower down the rev range and that it doesn't really make a difference top end.
I'd be interested to drive a Terrano with one fitted and then get back in mine with the Powerchip switched off to feel the difference
As for the tyres there's only an inch in it so seems like a fair race :naughty

YES!!!!!!! :thumb2 :thumb2 :thumb2
Commercial as well with a nice bit of lift on :naughty
You've been hiding that well :sly
I'm on Facebook more than here to be honest as I find it easier :augie

That'll be why I haven't seen it then, I ditched Facebook years ago and don't miss it, looks a smart truck mate :thumb2
What other mods you done to it? I do like the red and would have had one but I've seen some older ones that have started to go pink but yours seems to be faring well :)

Cheers!!
It's pink when it's dry and you park it near a red car haha... it will be getting painted again in summer as it's one of the best I've seen for rot!!
Just 2" lift, mods and 265s, middle silencer removed and now my fuel mod... soon to have body lift 285s petrol diffs and a vnt turbo! But before all of that a 3.0 clutch and up the boost on this turbo ;-)

The MAF has no purpose over 2500rpm I think it is. It's just full flow air in at that point. Maf amp can only be of use lower down the rev range :thumb2
Cheers!!

Sweeeeeeet!!!!
Am I right in thinking you had a Maverick before this one? If so that's really weird because that's exactly how I started lol
SWB Maverick and then SWB Terrano Commercial :thumbs
Like the sound of a VNT turbo, what's involved in that?
I've had a mk2 terrano mk2 maverick and a mk3 terrano all swb :-) Vnt turbo isn't as bad as you think. First on the list is a 3.0 clutch as mine is about dead now....

Mines on it's way out and will certainly be doing the 3.0 clucth mod myself too :D
If mine goes before yours I'll be sure to post some pics of what's involved as Makeitfit said that something has to be turned down in a lathe
Yeah I've heard both some say it needs a slight machine others say straight fit... I'm picking a spare flywheel up next weekend and a 3.0 luk clutch so if flywheel needs machining I can do it before box is off!
