Also very cool, the paint job looks standard, I'd colour code the windows and tidy the faded plastics and that would look awesome :thumb2

Now as it's a commercial, is the road tax cheaper. If it was a car it'll be a million pounds for that year won't it?

Not sure without checking mate but as it's 2006 I'd say it stands a good chance it's going to be extortionate!!!

yep plus relaxed towbar regs, not bound by ec94/20.

any car after 8th march 06 as i recall is top rate, so need a 55 plate to be on safe side,

think any car from 2002 onwards could potentially have the higher banding but was held
back to a fixed figure, mine's £290 there abouts, 52/53 plates. still higher than the pre
2002 or what ever the change date was. might even fit in with going from letter reg
to the year regs.

hmmmm, what classifies it as commercial ?
For example if I have no seats in the back and a flat bed, does that count ?
What's the reduced rate Zac ?

I did want to put seats, windows & belts in the back of my truck but I think I will give that idea a miss now.

It's not really discounted rates, we just see it as a discount over paying the higher £500 band a year, I'm sure mine is £240 for the year :nenau

I need to check

Yeah, I checked on DVLA etc . My truck is too old anyway. However I did find out that as a commercial van, different speed restrictions apply. You're OK though as your truck is based on the Terrano (CAR) .

My cousin has been looking at getting a Discovery commercial on lease, no back seats!!, he currently has a ford ranger on a commercial lease, twin cab but a pickup.
