I think the next thing you buy should have caterpillar tracks.
You might be able to get over the stones then.:augie:augie

Yea that one was cool, but it did look very top heavy
Was a bit big for a laning adventure.
I was looking at a mitsubishi delcia space gear for a bit of a day van /camper project but the engines are prone for cylinder head problems.
Wonder if the terrano lump would fit??

It's the Shogun 2.8 lump isn't it? Tbh bud I had a 2.8 Shogun before the Trol and never had any problems with the engine despite the dodgy rep :nenau
She even got near the red a couple of times after I first got her (leaking water pump) and was fine, even though I don't think she'd been much taken care of before I got her :(
Think it's a bit like the ZD30, you only really hear about the bad ones.

I thought the 2.8 was supposed to be a good engine it's the 2.5 engine that went in Pajeros & L200 that had issues.

I've heard stuff about both tbh :nenau and had Shoguns with both!
Only thing that went wrong with my 2.5 was a broken timing belt (my own fault for not checking when I got it :( )
Yeah suppose it's always the bad that people talk about.
Won't be happening any time soon so will give me the chance to do some more research.

If you're going to put a poptop or hightop and sleep in the top, you stand a chance of being sea sick, especially if you give it one of your 7" lifts.:p

Not really sure what I'm going to do to be fair.
Just an idea at the moment. Need to get myself a little unit to work in.
Had space at the old factory for my projects but the lay out of the new one makes it difficult as it would always be in the way.

The bidding seems a lot for vehicle that is probably a non runner.
The listing is very basic I guess with 17 bids one of them has been to look at it.
My son-in-law put his old Audi A8 with LPG on flea bay a few years back and despite adding that bidders should view the vehicle first and pay a deposit if they were the winning bid before collecting. A Trader with a 4x4 and trailer turned up at his house before paying the deposit so he turned him away. The bloke got quite nasty and threatened legal action to recover his costs - that was a bit daft as he was unknowingly talking to a Solicitor !
It was pointed out that he could pay his 10% deposit on Paypal via his i-phone and then test drive the vehicle at the agreed price. If any undeclared faults were found then there was room for negotiation. He left without paying a deposit. Vehicle was sold at the re-listing for a slightly better price !
This will do:thumb2
Elty that is a beast!!!! I wouldn't mind one of those, I'm sure the misses would probably come off roading then because she could hide in the back :lol
