Finished work today at 5pm and not back until 7th Jan... over two weeks freedom from the daily grind... yesssssss.

Off doing the aunty and uncle Christmas card run tomorrow evening.

Mum and Dad are coming round for Christmas dinner on Sunday.

Monday prepare this place for the late night move which will probably take until 5am Tuesday.

Tuesday or Wednesday I might get the bike out for a blast to clear the cob webs.

Thursday we are off to Lucy's Mum and Dad in Worcestershire for Christmas dinner and will be back home Boxing day.

After that..... no plans and will just chill.

So when do you all break up and what are you up to?

Smallbone....?HOW MUCH?... 8O
Did some of their stuff a few years back, what a rip off :?
Mind you I was inspired by how much they could charge for it all 8)
When Mr or Mrs X does the over my shoulder thing, I just do a bit of routing or sawing without the hoover on
that usually gets rid, if not just ask them if the kettle's still working cause I put the water back on ages ago

I envy you guys - really!!

Us retired folk don't get a day off!

There's no long week-end relief to look forward to - no 'sickies' to take - just the never ending maintenance on the house, car, bike, caravan.

BUT thankfully, we can just chill out if we need to!

Life is good. Let's be grateful, whether your working, looking for it, or just surviving after a lifetime of it. Let's all be thankful that we're able to enjoy another festive season.

Merry Christmas to one and all, CL

P.S. Loved the cards!!

Fitted a paint your own jobbie in Lincon somewhere about 5 years back. Bloke was a race horse breeder and it was for the stable block 8O
Just a little place for the stable lads to make their tea
Never met the painter guy but was told he took a couple of weeks on it :?

tbh, i dont like it. ive some units in my home office, 8, paid £25 for them :-) but price on the units.. well lets just say teh CHEAPEST was over £1000, and i can JUST get my tower in it. i have to take the door off to do any thing to it.

ive got furniture in every room ive made, the office is teh only work style stuf. else were its my own style designs
