Hello
I've just bought a Nissan terrano II to go on an epic road trip from the UK to Mongolia. My friend has been helping me look over it before the trip and he found the clutch damper pipe has corroded so it needs to be removed. Is it possible to fit a blanking plug into the block on the 3 way join along the clutch pipe and if so does anyone know what size thread the plug needs to be?
Thanks very much

No plug. Just use ball bearing in end of pipe at 3 way join

I had to replace the hose at same time so I took the new hose into a bolt specialist who got correct size so yeah you can plug it. I had to get the plug machine with a small concave on the bottom and also used a small rubber o ring. Personally if this happened again I would repair the damper rather than do away with it. Since I blanked it off I get a vibration and a small noise from it.
