As I had the ramps out so I could have a better look under the Patrol, thought it would be rude not to "Flex" it a bit on standard suspension. :augie

Looking good, I did that once with my mates similar ramps and they collapsed.

Are they like what you see at dealers. Long ramps you drive up and then they tip so the car is level? If you know what I mean:nenau

They are like beasts, I can't explain it

I'd trust a 7.5 tonne truck on them :naughty

My little ramps:thumb2
Stand just shy of a foot tall and 10 1/2 inch wide.
I got them from a transcare depo near me some years ago when they were having a clear out.

One is a little bent but a new bit of angle iron will soon sort that out.

The main frame is 40x40x6, the risers are 25x25x3 & the braces are 25x6 flat.

They weigh just over 20kg each.

I don't know the specifics of Elty's ramps but usng that MG wheel as reference at quick glance I'd say they were the same size :thumb2

I would say they are roughly the same size.
I would say mine are more heavy duty, we'll have to compare ramps one day. Seeing as we only live less than half a mile from one another :lol :lol

I would regard those as being DIY/domestic duty, one day I might replace the pair I had stolen by Swifty, but now having a hoist the need is not so great, Rick

Hopefully my Patrol would beat that at the moment as I have just had the drop links removed so no arb to front or rear to stop flex. However am in the process of making new ones that are a bit longer than standard to allow for the lift.
One problem you will have with that patrol off road is that towbar will plough every thing you drive over, it looks bigger than the one that was on mine and that was a nightmare.

Kind regards

Russell.
