Wow it does look good no wonder it sold so quickly pleased I did not see it or the Jeep would be history had I been first in line (provided it was an automatic so probably not)!
Reminds me of a motor I wanted to buy that was advertised locally by a Dealer in Stoke on Trent. When I rang up it was not in stock due to a delay in the buyers replacement vehicle. I rang up and spoke to the Salesman a number of times over the following two weeks and was promised a phone call. Next time I rang he had sold it despite telling me he would let me know the day it came in!
I have been regularly treated badly by car salesmen. When we bought an old Mercedes 300TE 4-matic in 2006 from a bomb site garage in Bolton I rang up before I drove over and was told the car was sold.
I rang again about half an hour later and spoke to another salesman and was told it was not sold as a salesman was using it himself as his daily drive to work! I drove up to Bolton and bought it as it was a rare one owner vehicle G Reg with no service history and 105,000 on the clock for under a £1,000. Turned out the book pack with f.s.h.had been stolen at the auctions. That was our first 4 wheel drive motor!

What made you call again??

What made you call again??
There was something in his tone of voice and as 300 TE 4-matics are pretty scarce I wanted to be sure it was actually sold. I was glad I did ring again as the vehicle was taxed and my mate who went with me to look at it was able to drive it back for me on the same day on his insurance.
On a final note I had previously put a deposit down on a 300E Saloon elsewhere subject to road test. The Dealership had 'lost the keys' after a few days I went back to find it had been traded and my deposit was returned. Reason stated was the used car warranty could not be applied due to pre-sale repair costs ??

Beware ANY one day listings.
ANYONE who has JUST bought a vehicle and is now shifting it on a one day auction has GOT to be hiding something.
No MOT cert? Yeah right!

I would be tempted if it had a proper motor in it.
But the axles would sort my gearing out a treat :thumb2
