Search problems

Is the search working OK? I seem to get very few posts returned (and only from the last few days) when I use the 'Search for all items' option.

Im getting the same, only recent posts showing. Looks like we must have lost a lot of old posts in the changeover.

I'd like to think than none of the old posts were deleted before the hand over to me on Saturday.

But it appears that not only were the PMs deleted, but it looks like the search index was emptied :x

Over the Christmas/New year period I will be migrating the site away from its clunky software that we are currently running on to one that is not only more stable but will make the whole administration so much easier.

Apologies for any problems the loss of the search index has caused :(
