HI Everyone I purchased a Nisan Patrol 3.0 DDTi Elegance new Dec 2005 2 months ago with 12,000km on the clock.

its done almost 30,000km now and over 10,000km I have driven it off road.

Modifications
Suspension lift of 115mm, 65mm aluminum blocks under the springs with new OME coil springs having 50 mm longer shocks (front shocks are 120mm longer than original).

Front axle moved forward 60mm, rear axle moved backwards 20mm.

Radius arms, cross members, radius arm brackets and cross member brackets rebuilt or modified for new axle locations.

Modified and changed locations for all tubes to axles (breaks, vacuum, breathing etc.)

Front bump stops moved down 70mm, rear bump stopper move up 100mm.

New tie rod added, adjustable to correct the steering wheel after the lift, (will be longer).

Steering stabilizer added, necessary for 44" tires. Also enlarging the power steering fluid reservoir 100% and lowered 80mm.

Connecting pins on rear anti sway bars extended some 110mm

Pinion angle increased by 4° for a total of 6° by turning the axle casing

Body lifted from the frame by 80mm

Bumper brackets modified and bumpers move up 80mm

Winch bar fitted in the front. Quick engaging electrical connector for the winch added along with a switch under the hood.

Rubber joint by the steering box made longer to match body lift

Body cut to match new fender flares

Fender flares and aluminum side steps mounted. Rear fender flares cut in half and made 40mm longer to make space for the 44" tires.

ARB arilockers on front axle

High volume air Pump

Auto Deflators to 20,17,15,10,5,3psi

GPS Laptop stand

safari snorkle

80w rear facing lights
170w IPF Front Spots

Iridum Sat Phone
Tetra
VHF
etc......

problems so far previous owner had front airlockers on why driving in water over 1.4 meters and sucked water into front axle.

this destroid the airpump for the lockers and was causing the front axle to leak oil, this was fixed by new pump and just changing oil in the axle

also ha new front wheel bearings fitted as the other ones where destroid, been told that the seals on them need to be replaced every year to prevent the water and sand getting into them, when beeing used for these extream conditions

What a smart looking motor, It really looks good, I've seen other Icelandic Patrols they all seem to be the buisness too.

Pity we don't seem to get that sort of quality over here.

Now as I'm looking for a Patrol, that would be perfect, I don't suppose you want to send it to the UK for me to play with do you?

Welcomne to the club BTW.

Id love to offroad where you need a GPS!

Do you put 44s on when you go for the real hard core stuff?

Nice rig man! If only!

38" will get you everwhere in the summer well actulay 33" will get you 90% of places in the summer, in the winter is a bit differn, only put the 44" under if planing a trip in snow, all though the 38" do a pretty good job in the snow it only really helps is the snow is softer. but with 38" i will be dropping from to 3psi when if i had 44" i would still be on 10psi
