i went to london yesterday to go out to fox on the hill, denmark hill, for sunday dinner.
on the way the blody nave came unstuck from screen so pushed it on dash till i could stop,a12.found a space and pulled in to reset nav on screen.
noticed there was a rac chap working on t2 and could hear it starting dut not revving.being nosy i walked up and it was a fuel problem, main filter changed and bled through but still would not run.rac man talking about getting it recovered so i suggest he pulls out banjo in ip,dont think that will do any good he says as its a through line.
i emplane about in line banjo filter and reluctantly he takes it out, blows it with air and out pops a mini filter,so i suggests it is left out and put back together.
fires up and coughs a bit but then full revs back.
i explained to rac chap its fairly common that causes a problem.
owner of t2 thanked me and rac chap says he did not know about it and also thanked me.
we all go on our way.
thing is that is the second time i have told rac about filter.perhaps they should inform all there chaps.
