Hi I am new to this site, I own a Nissan Navara D40 06 reg and go green lanning. My truck as 164,000 miles and runs sweet but can anyone advise on timing chain replacement. I am an engineer so will do it myself, but do I go with original like for like replacement chains or upgrade to a double chain kit?
Secondly do members have club meets and social gatherings?
Many thanks
Jim

Welcome Jim.
Would be good to have a meet somewhere central to the general membership.:thumb2

Welcome aboard Jim. Sorry no idea about the Navs, which engine is it?
There used to be national rallies but not had one for a long time. There are sometimes green lane meets both days and weekends. Got to say met some great people on here but not met a lot from "darn sarf" but have every intention of making the effort sometime.

Thanks.
Yes it would, I am new to all this so not sure where is central to the club, but I like to go green lane driving and 4x4 shows.

Check out the downloads section in quick links, think there may be a workshop manual for your truck.
