The Bosch Part numbers to search for are...

"0 432 217 306"
"0432 217 306"
0432217306
"16600 7F406"
"16600 7F407"

And then pop onto Ebay, or local motor factors and ask for a Sealey SX024 Diesel Injector Socket 27mm Thin Wall which is around the £10 mark, so you can take it out and out it back in again.

Tightening Torques
Injection nozzle to engine: : 54 - 64 N ⋅m (5.5 - 6.5 kg-m, 40 - 47 ft-lb) Injection nozzle to tube: : 20 - 25 N ⋅m (2.0 - 2.5 kg-m, 14 - 18 ft-lb)

If removing and returning, you will also need the sealing washer set, which consists of 1 larger cup shaped washer, and a smaller needle seal washer. The Cup shaped washer goes on with the open side of the cup towards the Injector.

Not found the part number or size for those yet though.

Only cut out a slot to pass the wire through, you need to keep the socket a full socket or when you try to crack the injector chances are the socket will not be strong enough :thumb2 I borrowed a split socket designed for injector removal and it was too weak!! So I bought a deep socket and milled a slot into it to pass the wire through and it was spot on. Hope this makes sense!

I ordered the £99 injector off of Amazon yesterday morning, paid the extra £2.50 (ish) for first class delivery, and it arrived today.... great service.

I also found a person on Ebay selling the washer kit, 4 big, 4 small seals for the princely sum of £1.10, with free postage, which I also ordered yesterday, and again, they arrived today....

Glad I did, as the injector did not come with seals.

Injector socket should be here tomorrow, but I am out all day, so with any luck, I should be able to do it on Thursday.

While I have it all apart there, is it worth removing the other injectors and checking them out, or best leave them well alone until I think there may be a genuine reason to check them out?

As with all fuel pipes especially injector side, best left alone, if no fault as in doing so you run the risk of getting dirt in the system, and nothing to gain by removing them and just looking, however if you had access to a test pump then it would be good to check the spray pattern and cracking pressure, but again not worth taking them to a work shop, as in all the years I have done same, never once never once have they returned them with just a test fee, but always stated they were stuffed and fitted new elements, Rick
