Hello from the Isle of Wight. Very new to this forum stuff so thought i would introduce myself. I have been registered for a little while now but finally got around around to paying my £10 (worth every penny, apologies for not been sooner) I am the owner of a T2 2000reg that I am slowly working my way through a few niggles with, nothing serious though just those little frustrating ones that keep taunting me everytime I notice them :) Take care. Thomas

I know about those types of jobs!!!!! [emoji38]

I have a list on my laptop/phone that I'm slowly working my way through, I'm after some parts though first before I can do some jobs and that requires money [emoji38]

Welcome indeed and yes it's well worth a tenner, read older threads to see what people have done previously, pick up info without having to ask questions and don't hold back on the question asking. You ain't going to know the answer until you ask.
And sometimes the banter is quite good too... ;)

Hi, many thanks to you all for the kind welcome.
Well as you asked jims-terrano those little are niggles are as follows
* Drivers side headlight glass cracked so need to get a new light - past the MOT though on a advisory.
*Headlight adjustment switch. Works fine but hit a pot hole the other day and the numbers lit up, that is until the next pot hole appeared. Did not know it had a light but now I know it bugs me and I want it to work.
*interior lights do not work properly. Front fine (believe not connected to door switches) but middle and boot do not work when doors opened/closed Will switch on manually but do not turn off. Bulb removed from boot light as no manual switch.
*Passenger electric window motor jammed. Did take door card off 6 months ago gave the motor a tap and silicon sprayed the runners. It worked fine until 2 weeks ago when pulled up to ferry kiosk on passenger side and had to run around front of car to take ticket Will try the same again, and swop motor when i get time.
*Dash bulb out behind temperature gauge. Believe easy fix.

As I said just niggles really all the important stuff works fine. I will read through past posts etc and probably find the answers amongst those.

Once again many thanks for the welcome.

What year is your truck? Or post a pic of it. Also an idea to include info about your truck in your signature just the basic stuff not details to identify you personally of course:thumb2

Watch those mirror switches as they fall apart just for the fun of it.

Map reading lights at the front by the mirror are totally manual. The centre and boot lights are operated by doors and manual override and they're also on a timer too so don't turn off straight away. Three position switch on the middle lamp, centre position is off and one side is manual on and the other side position is doors.

Several posts about dashboard bulbs but these do change depending on year.

Again headlamps change with year and around 2000 onwards they came in either dark mask or totally silver internals. Often members on here selling off bits too.
