are they different sizes? the Modular looks a lot bigger than the Alloy, to the extent that it would not fit on the rear.
Very strange but both same as they're my new insa special tracks 265\75\16
Deffo modulars especially if you offroad. Steels bends, alloy breaks :thumb2
mods for me, look a lot meaner, looks like you need to do some chopping of bodywork....

I showed the picture to Suz, and she said that she preferred the rear wheel, but it needed the bigger front tyre on it.:naughty:naughty I had to show her your post to prove they were both the same...
So basically, while it pains me to say it, as I am an Alloy's man, we both agree the Mods look a lot better.
So, did you have to modify any panels to fit them, or just remove the front mud flaps? What is the wheel size and offset?

old school steel rick.
I thought that "modulars" were steel wheels that could be taken apart allowing tyres to be fitted without a machine :nenau
So wouldn't these technically be called Steel Wheels?
But yeah, people always come up to me and ask, "what did you pay for your modulars :doh
Oh yeah and the Steels/Modulars allllllllll day long Mark :thumb2

Generally steels for offroading yes. However there are more industrial alloys around for offroading with :D
I have some excels that were made in Japan as after market offroad alloys for Toyota.:thumbs
Took a while but I eventually got a set :naughty

I looked at the standard 17" y61 facelift alloys as they look the dogs:D
But in comparison to the alloys of unknown origin that I ended up with looked pretty weeak so it's Alloys for me:thumbs
I was looking at buying some new steel wheels and tyres yesterday, but they only came with oversized hubs making them lugcentric putting all the stress on the bolts rather than hub centric wheels so decided to stick with my alloys.

Terrano is nut centric (6 of them look you ). The hubs are never load bearing on these trucks ;)
Modular is just the style of steel wheel, with round holes.
Mine are D mods with you guessed it D shaped holes.
Weller style have the eight spokes like Weller's.
Prefer the alloy for looks :thumb2
