Well Guys and Gals
just in case you missed it check out the latest newsletter
not the best we have had but its hanging in there!!
tell me if you still want it and what will you do to help it out.
i dont mind doing it but i do need stuff to write about!!
so here is a quick simple poll
if yes add comment to tell me how you can help
if no tell me why not (i wont be offened)
this is not designed to split the club i just need to know what direction i need to take it
try it once more tony then we will move it to half yearly, then see what happens, a lot of work by you for such little respect,
keep up the good work please.
Hi Robobone.
I think its great having a newsletter it makes the club more proffesional and helps to promote us.
As far as helping I'll do my best to make sure you have a report and pictures for any future events.
Now ideas.
How about a joke section?
How about asking one of our sponsors to right a report on their products.
How about listing the discounts club members are entitled to.
I like the competition idea.
Regards.
Muzz
How about a write up of members motors, description, mods, likes, dislikes, future mods etc.
I'll do a write up of something for you, next meet perhaps?

I see usual apathy!!!!!
6 votes 3 comments all comments from commitee members(mind i like some of the ideas coming forward)
so by my reckoning 7(me included, i didnt vote) out of 434 members want the newsletter (Thats 1 in 62)
come on you members be counted have your voice because
USE it or LOSE it
IT IS DOWN TO YOU!!!!!!

well would you believe it i write the newsletter for only 7 members and myself.
(only3 replies)
450+ members its a joke
why do i bother, if you cant be bothered to put some in put then i cant be a**ed to spend time that i could spend being appreciated by others.
final warning
if i don't get a decent response by the end of november with ideas and write up's from members other than the organizers of events etc.
i will resign as editor and let someone else have the hassle :!: :!:
i don't want to have to do this but my head hurts from banging it on a brick wall
If you do send any thing to include please send direct not put on forums that way members will read it for the first time on the newsletter
ideas on the forum would be ok

"You are trying to access a restricted area, you must have a full members registered account to gain access, if you are a full member, please login now."
if i was not a full member i would not be in this forum?
am i the only one? or are there others? if so perhaps thats why you have not had the response you would of liked 8O

ps nice to see that 1 member cant get news letter = 4 more votes
i don't have any problems accessing the newsletter section, has anyone else?
all too many issues are on members local pc not this server, i spend hours a month talking members through process's of setting cookies, clearing cookies, temporary internet files, history, to find out that once done correctly they can then all of a sudden view areas which were giving them problems.
the main reason i have found is that even though members may have cleared their cookies, they either don't log back in after, or their isp software has all hidden junk to stop cookie related sites from running properly on their local pc, or allowing older stored pages to be view only.
I spoke with one member who not only had norton internet security running (firewall) but also McAfee running as well, had more security than the Pentagon.
I regularly login to standard test accounts to test areas for members only, and never seem to find any problems,
if no one tells me there is a problem i can't check it out,
please check the homepage link to the newsletter area and let me know if anyone has a problem with it, or any where else on the site.
