Okay so I may be old but have done Fourtran for computing in the sixties when the computer at Uni took up the whole first floor of the main building.
The first calculator I used was a manual Olivetti Pinwheel type that rang a bell as you did calculations back in 1964.
I started with Windows 3.0 then moved through Windows 95, 98, XP, awful Vista, Win 7, Win10 and managed to sort out changing broadband provider and different pop & smtp settings but ................
What the heck is all this google account & microsoft account stuff all about ? When I download stuff on my PC or phone I just get confused in a maze of forgotten passwords etc.
To make matters worse on my phone I get messages saying that my Virgin Media account is not recognised or that I am not authorised. Some accounts want me to re-set a password that ends up being sent to an e-mail address I no longer have.
They call it progress I guess ?
