So bought some seats from a member called Phil who's breaking his terrano, these seats have been stood for 2 years.. Ater giving them two wipe downs previous I decided they weren't goos enough yet.. After several hours this morning I have now used boiling water, scrubber, glipsole leather cleaner and then a heavy moisturiser... Finally they look booming, left the car running for ages whilst washing to get hest in the cab to help absorb the moistiriser better :cool

A bit of polish, then when you go off roading, you won't need to decide which seat to sit in, the Terrano will decide for you lol....
I have never had a car with leather seats, but our leather suite at home is great against spills and leakages, mostly from the grand kids lol.

Just need to watch out for things like metal combs or keys in back pockets lol.:doh

Really nice looking Alex, you've done really well:clap:clap:clap

Are these the heated seats you were on about? If so have you got them wired in yet?

Also as asked earlier what moisturiser have you used. I've seen some small tins on ebay for about £8ish but that stuff dyes it too. Thought about this stuff for mine.

Hey chaps, thanks for the comments, they are heated but not wired in yet. Hold on and I'll snap a pic of the cleaner and moisturiser.

They are good, it soaks in to the leather leaves no residue :thumb2

Wow they do look really good.

Way back in the 70's Merc amongst others used to do a trim called "Tex" for the S class range it was a very hard synthetic trim that you could scrub with a brush. Standard was cloth trim next upgrade was Tex then it was Leather. On the E class they did a Velor Trim as well when it was the fashion for your 3 piece suite.

Brings to mind a red-face moment from a good few years ago. I decided the best thing to make my bikes seat look good was Pledge. That led to a few interesting rides before it wore off :o

Has your air bag warning light come on Alex as they don't look like the seats with the built in air bags:confused:

Take it the SRS light hasn't come on the dash then or have you wired in a resister to fool the system:nenau
