It's that time!

At last!

New shocks!

I want to fit Monroe gas shocks front and rear. Standard length.

Trouble is I am having some trouble finding a supplier. Has anyone got any ideas?

I want to get them on in the next week or so.

Now you're just being ridiculous!

(Damn, why didn't I think of that :doh)

I'll drop them an email and see if they can point me in the right direction.

As an ex-employee of Brown Brothers I would have told you to go there as they did Monroe. But between leaving and coming back from Spain they've disappeared. :(

Where were Brown Brothers, I'll see if I can google 'em up!

As a motor factor they've gone, as have Edmund Walker and Partco, apparently. It's all Eurocarparts these days...
Give Monroe a call, they'll sort you. ;)

Yeah, we used to have some independants around here but they all vanished when GFS, Euro etc pitched up!

I haven't got a clue what happened as I was in Spain. Dana, who owned Brown Brothers, are huge and still have a presence but I think it's just paintshops only now. They were happy days.

Aaah !

That explains why I got spray guns, tacky rags, solvents etc. when I googled them.

Finally got it done.

New Monroe Adventure Shocks front and rear. The time spent a couple of months ago freeing off the nuts paid dividends, did front and rear in two and a half hours.

Ride is now less like a dinghy in a swell!
