Been looking at decent tyre inflators / compressors.
Don't look too bad for the money:nenau

I use the air compressor from a Volvo with air assisted suspension, it pumps my trailer tyres to 65 psi no problem although it takes around 10 mins to inflate a nearly flat T2 tyre, but still not bad, have a look round your breakers or Ebay, Rick
Wonder if one from a td5 disco 2 would work as got a few mates who have removed air suspension from them

Remember with big tyres it's volune you want quick not pressure. So go for a decent flow rate. It's getting it from 0 to 15psi that takes time :lol
I have this one with defo get's my 35s up PDQ and still going strong after a few dunkings too :augie

I've got the same one, it works well.
I had a couple of cheep ones had to make a cup of tea while waiting, then they get so hot and cremated themselves.

Wow it looks the part with less plastic in the build. FWIW I have found one common problem with the pumps I have owned over the years and that is when I keep them in my boot they inevitably fall apart with the constant vibration excacerbated by use !
Best one I had was a £10 Black Spur unit that I bought from Donnington Market it lasted a good 15 years and foolishly I sold it with my Mini that had no spare wheel! I had siliconed all the visible screws to hold them in place.
Saw this on e-bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-Volt-12V-Air-150-PSI-Heavy-Duty-Compressor-Inflator-Pump-For-Tyres-Cars-Bike/361271908332?_trksid=p2060778.c100276.m3476&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%2 6asc%3D33333%26meid%3D3d51ac3f0c99450a971a91d99c9c 56b8%26pid%3D100276%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D2520 55696757
Id have to mount it into rear wing in side boot and maybe carry extra tubes for it to at least reach front wheels.

A lot of TD5 boys have converted the old suspension air compressor for the purpose of inflating their tyres

As a Patrol..MAN I think £30 to have it turn up on my door step and work if I ever need it is ok:thumb2
Relying on a second hand part from an oval:nenau
Thanks for the input guys:thumb2
I will probably go for the one I posted and keep it in the bag until needed. I may attack it with some threadlock to reduce it all vibrating into a pile of bits too:thumbs
It's only the NSF that looses a few psi now n then so I'll probably nip back to the tyrebay that fitted n get it reseated :thumb2

Not sure that's a good idea. Everyone I know with air suspension couldn't get it to work, so why try and blow up tyres with a compressor that can't blow up your suspension?
