i was 13 when they first came out and i also wanted one :oops: i think they cost about £1500 so i never did get one :cry:

i bet you couldn't get one for £629 now days.
have seen the kit car version at a show i went to last year but not an original.a friend of mine builds kit cars,i bet he will know who has got one.

i think it was at newark showground.my mate was showing his a c cobra kit car fitted with a honda fireblade engine.very very fast.

I used to go to school in one of these but only when it was raining other wise I walked :lol: I loved the way the whole front opened up :lol:

Could never get over the steering wheel moving with the door. 8O

Was it these bubble cars that if you parked it too close to a wall, you couldn't get out, as they don't have reverse gear? :oops: :oops:

Yep but they were so light you could push them we had to get dad out when he forgot :lol: :lol: :lol:
