Is there a way of turning the flipping thing off, it's a pain in the arse!
Sick of it covering the screen when I open the internet on my phone or ipad, I only get the cross to close it. I really wish there was a tickbox to say sod of and dont pester me again!
Can you tell that I really don't want it but the site seems to think I should have it.

Thats just it Pete, I haven't and won't install it but it seems it is embedded in this web site. It basically detects that you are accessing using a mobile device and says you need tapatalk. Trouble is you can't tick a box to say NO Don't Ask Me Again. It's getting rather annoying now, just now it splashed across the whole screen and then when I had got rid of that it displayed as a banner across the top of the page.
I hardly switch my laptop on unless I need to use it for something else but it now seems like the only way to stop being pestered about tapatalk is to access via laptop. It isn't happening!
Just been pointed in the direction of a solution, will try it after work and see how it goes.
Cheers

Search for for an Android application: "User Agent Switcher"
I have it installed on my smart phone. Not on my laptop/desktop or tablet. If its on your pc,uninstall it and clean your registry. (If you are comfortable doing so.)
