Could anyone recommend a campsite around the peak district area for a family holiday in August this year. Twin axle caravan and awning. Girls are 9 and 13 with mountain bikes and a San Miguel drinking t-rex, I mean mother-in-law. :cool:
Don't usually go for swimming pool, entertainment complex club room kind of places cos on hols, I need to relax. :D
 
Some nice sites in the hope valley and Vale of edale area but you pay the price for being in the heart of the peak district.
 
easy,hulme end camp site hulme end.
large field turn up and site where you want toilets washing up washing cwdp water slight slope field,close bike rides along old railway lines,stream to get your feet wet,decent pub close village close 4.50 pppn.been there every year for several years and going again mid july.
