I think until the relevant parties are ready to announce something then it is their perrogative not to say anything.

Im sure all will become clear soon but surely if one member knows whats going on (extreme4x4) then we should all know.. We've all paid the same £10 to become a member and are all members on equal levels (with except the mods!!!)

Im sure all Dadba is trying to do is get an update. Hes not the only one thinking things.. hes just the only one speaking his mind and putting it on the forum!

I'm with Sharkie its non of our buisiness what Mav does or does not do with his own property, and if an when he wants to tell us he will.

This is a very well run site and Mav (not forgetting Shark1e has allways listened to the views of all members and made it aq safe and non threataning environment in which to air our views and have fun.

I know some peole dont seem to like the fact that making it a succesfull paid for site means having a decent set of rules which by joining we agree to abide by.

I hope if and when the site has a new owner they appreciate this fact! as there is lot ,ore to a paid members club than there is to a free forum, legal responsibilities and everything change and Mav has accomodated all these things very well.

SO I vote lets bin this thread and leave private things private, or do you want to know what MAv is having for his supper as well? :lol: :lol:

But what gets me about you wanting the thread chopped is, Why do you continue to keep on reading and replying ?
Its ok its what we do.
If/when this one gets cut you can be rest assured someone will want another one to be cut in the near future.
Its a bit like watching something on tv that you think is filth and then complaining to the bbc or itv. Why ? Just dont watch it and let life progress and move on.

Just walked in from another 15 hour day and totally fed up with this sort of post, Are some getting a kick out of this rubbish?.

The club is staying here thanks to the future new owner and i think you should be saying thank you to him for taking it on.
Because if he had not then i was going to close the membership to all newbies and wind it down over the next year.

So i think you need to say thanks to him (When you know who it is)

Most members realize what’s involved in running this club and some others think you should be here 24 /7 and be there to answer there posts instantly. and be there when they wake up too!

Ok, Like i said i will not be the boss soon as Dadba so kindly keeps reminding us.

When the new person takes over then fine but its not for me to say and if anyone wants to guess then that’s fine but i have not told anyone who it is, Some have tried guessing.

They will tell you when there ready but we need to complete the sale before announcing who it is.

Hope this answers some questions for now.

it seems to me that you like to be centre of attention when it comes to arguments, this club has seen members like yourself come and go and it survived just nicely without them, if someone does not like the club or the way its ran, then why stop on here or why waste your time replying.

I will for those who have not been here since the start many moons ago, remind you of why and for what type of people this club was started,

it was started for like minded owners of the vehicles this club represents, also for families as well as single people, come that black or white, gay or straight, young or old, it started with a very friendly family enviroment atmosphere and a place to have a laugh!

now all i hear you saying is easy to be a bad guy on here, not have a say due to posts chopped or locked what ever, moan this moan that, it really peeeves me to sit here and listen to such petty trash some people go on about when they start these pointless debates,

i believe the debate has been answered for all and not just one and the majority seem to be happy to go with the flow and wait for the good news to come out naturally!

i appreciate you are a paid up member and you have some right to know whats going on, but me as a tax payer could not pop along to no10 and say oi mate who gonna be the primeminister after you finish next week etc, i would just have to wait and see would you not! IT will all be clear soon!

it's not my problem running the site anymore just that of fixing it! and again this has been said many times in the past, no one knows just how much it takes to run this site and most will never know, its easy to sit back and point fingers and sprout off, just have a thought for the ones who keep this running so everytime you rise from your pits you are able to enjoy the site like everyone else.

Well, I think the initial post has been answered several times over and we will have to wait and see who will be the next commander in chief.
This thread is not serving any purpose other than to attack each other with this tit for tat mentality and although some members may not like each other or agree with their opinions, this is not what the club is about. This is the very sort of thing that makes people wonder why they bother with the club.
