Been looking at some cool toys today, wish I could of taken a ride in them but still worth while getting up close and personal with them. Just got home so not really had chance to sort through all my photos.

Haha very true but it was ok as I was supposed to be there. One of the photos was taken from the gantry outside of the control tower:thumb2

Im still high as a kite from the visit, the buzz doesnt leave me even though Ive seen it all before. It was just a dam long drive there and back.

Almost forgot F15's

Thought so, They are pretty much the only jets to train at night here.

I live about 40 mins from mach loop, but embarrassed to say I've never been.

But seen stuff from A-10s to Apache's flying around here while out and about.

Oh man that is a waste mate, you know you need to go.

By the time Id refueled the mini bus and run it through the truck wash I got in at 11 last night, had to work this morning but afternoon off and still tired out.

Some great motors in the car parks, even saw a non intercooled terrano.

Davis Monthan Airforce base, Arizona, and an amazing museum next door.7003

Thousands of mothballed planes, all in working order, 750+ F4 Phantoms, B-52's, F-16's, you name it.

The museum down the road...

3 x B-52's, B-17, SuperFortress, SR-71, F-4's, Harriers, oh, so, so many pretty things!

It's a B-52, not the greatest picture, couldn't walk far enough back!

They have three. About six Dakotas, stuff I've never even heard off. If you are ever over near Pheonix, Az. then head for Tucson. You'll need a whole (long) day!

It was on my bucket list.

Now off it.

Now put "The Spruce Goose" on it !

Oh yeah I recognise it now, just looked odd from that angle.

Briggie I just love those frieghtenings, shame theres none flying in this country. Would like to go to Bruntingthorpe to see the fast runs down there, I know someone in the fire section there at Brunty.
