I needed a pair of nuts and bolts for my Jeep and unfortunately they were a bolt with a built in shoulder and washer so could not use a standard bolt plus they are high tensile.

Went to Jeep main deaker in Derby and came accross the minimum order rule where I could not order 2 bolts and 2 nuts as the minimum order was 4 bolts and 6 nuts!

So as I needed new bolts placed the order it set me back £48.33 ! Now I know why they call dealers Stealer's!

As it happens same bolt is also used for the shock absorber mounting so they might come in habdy in the future but I feel well mugged.

Or you could look for someone with the same problem as you (they only need a pair) and sell the spares for £45.00. #Bargaintastic #VoteCapitalism :)

Try a different dealership, I've found some are like that & others aren't

Never heard of that before:eek: mind you if it had been Nissan the bolts would have been £400 as that seems the price for everything at the minute:lol:doh I know when I worked for Rover if you needed just 1 bolt & it was out of stock 1 or 2 would be ordered for the next day but the customer only paid for what they needed:augie It's not as if the Jeep dealer isn't going to use any of the bolts in their workshop robbing gits:doh
