So even with lots of fuel sometimes after a drive if I open it up I get a big hiss... There is a breather in the cap by the looks of it, I tried to spray it with brake cleaner, isn't there a secret hose somewhere I can spray? :nenau
You don't fill up enough then:lol:lol Mine gives off a hiss every so often but it's mainly in the summer when it's hot but never noticed any problems TBH & i'm sure a couple of my old motors would did it as well:confused:

Well this is fairly normal, there is a valve in a plastic cannister that looks like the old 35mm film canisters, it is attached to the fuel tank, and you will see a small 6mm diameter pipe on it.
If at any point you have starting problems or running problems, then removing the fuel cap for a second might help things.
What is clear... your fuel system must be fairly air tight, as any leak would equalise the pressure in the tank. :thumb2
