... with the inspection ramps on Sunday since the chassis now sits higher than them :augie

Looks so much better with the winch bumper back on! :lol

Question though, are there any easy mods to do to the stock trailing arms to make the front axle flex a bit more readily?

lose they front sway bar. or hunt around for a factory quick disconnect for it.

softer radius arm bushes help too.

Lost all the ARBs/sway bars when I did the lift ;)

Cheers Bud, I'll have a look at softer bushes for a future purchase - gotta finish buying the bits for my snorkel first!

I'm led to believe the OEM bushes are best for flex :nenau
If there is a softer compound, I want some :sly

Just had a troll (get it :p) through the patrol 4x4 forum.

Apparently they put slotted bushes in the lower links on early Y61's which lets the axle flex a bit easier (although they don't last as long as solid ones if you work them hard).

They'll fit both Y60s and Y61s. Part number 54560VB012, £55.28 each.

Cheaper than the solid ones (they're £67.06 each) although since I'd need 4 of them I think I'll wait until my current ones go!

Well then how about std ones and just drill some holes in them ? I'll try it for you. RnD etc :sly

That sounds awesome :sly

From what I can gather the slots are vertical ie above and below the bolt hole.

Just seen this too, Looks pretty good for offroad but seems the jury is still out on that forum.
