doesn't seem that long since the one in 99 but we have another coming to
northern europe in less than a month.
Says best views will be in Iceland, but Scotland and Northern England will
be decent too.
Hoping to see this one:thumb2 as I missed the last one by sliping in & out of a coma whilst it happed:augie:doh

I went to Cornwall for the last one and the farmer kept on saying we had to book early as it would get packed on his farm (cashing in on the event) and as it turned out there were about 6 tents in his field.
We saw the start of the eclipse then it went cloudy so we sat around a mini portable tv and watched it - so much for driving 300 miles lol.

agreed we were in dorset, best could manage with funds. was cloudy and
didnt see any of eclipse action though obviously it went dark..er.
got home and colleagues had great view of it....cloudless.
was strange when though when birds went to roost as light dropped.
