Can anyone recommend a good insurance company (cheap from experience) that doesent charge the world.
IT MUST be a company that doesent mind mods!
Bumpers dont appear to be an issue, snorkel and aftermarket wheels do though  :nenau stupid companies... want to declare lifting too.
EDIT!! my insurance finishes tomorrow evening!

Adrian Flux do good prices and allow mods but be aware they will do everything to get out of paying a claim.
Kind regards
Russell.

I was going to suggest Flux but after a conversation with them today I'd think again. They want an extra £135 a year for me to change insurance from my swb to a lwb.

They will match your other quotes.

Happened because the provider I was going to go with had a hidden black box to reduce cost...
Lancaster insurance and Crosby insurance are a couple more to look at:thumb2

I went to Adrian Flux (from Direct Line) when I changed the tyres to A/T on an otherwise standard Patrol. They gave me a good price at the time. :clap
Since then I have updated them with all the mods to the 'trol as they have gone along and the original price has not changed until the last mod of adding the ARB bumper, the winch and the OME suspension. The type of mods did not add to the premium, but the increase in my estimate of the value (as it now had some very expensive extras) did make it go up, but not by too much.
Not had to make a claim and so I don't know how easy that will be. :nenau
makeitfit had to claim I think, He never had a issue. Could of been with another insurer but sure he can let us know.

Adrian Flux, get a telephone quote, then a web quote from them, get back on the phone and ask them to match the web quote, do not forget there is a 10% discount for members
My breakdown cover is included in my bank charges

AdrianFlux mate, but be strong with them they can be a bit sales like. I claimed and all fine.
Only left them because they upped the prices a few years back, but now they're price matching at least. So as said, just get an online quote as cheap as you can then use that with AF :sly
