Trying to find out the normal gear ratios of the axles for a terrano,

As makeitfit says they are obviously geared for a lot of road use.

If anyone has the figures, I would appreciate :thumb2

HG49= 4.90:1
HG46= 4.625:1
HG43= 4.375:1
h233B came with 5.143(nismo), 4.875, 4.375:1, 4.625:1 or 4.636:1, 4.90:1
The H233b came with accompaning C200 R200A R180A ratio's

for example the axle code on my mistral at factory was H233B/R180A and being an auto would have come with mid range ratios 4.3 or 4.6

the 5.1 & 4.9 was used in nissan chassi's with L4 cylinder manual gearbox combination or by COPO.

aswell as varing other ratios when the R200 was used in Rwd applications such as silvia's skylines/ cefiro/laurel/bluebird. etc

presumably the petrols are fitted with lower ratio diffs which would be more suited for diesels with big tyres.:nenau

Thankyou so kindly for that. I take it these are all very close in terms of ratios? Any suggestions as to what mine will likely have or are these are pretty close?

Reason I want them is so we know where a standard terrano gearing starts.

Thankyou ray, I take it that was the latest ratio they made for the 2.7 as shown above too bud listed three ratios, that being the last :thumb2

I take it from driving the different terranos (I have driven two of Ricks) the ratio difference mentioned above is minute as I could not feel a difference in power or gear lengths :nenau

Basically what I am trying to do if find out what the standard gearing is, this giving me a mark of where to start and where to end up with say 35" or bigger tyres :thumb2

Some of the last Nissan UK marketing blurb for the Terrano also quoted the final drive ratio for the 2.7L as 4.375 and 3.900 for the 3.0L.
With the following gearbox ratios:
1st 3.580
2nd 2.077
3rd 1.360
4th 1.000
5th 0.811
