Not overly neat but I have tie wraped the hub centres on my Patrol as they came off quite easy and are quite expensive to replace, last one I lost on a green lane and luckly Joseph and I walked back down the lane and found both the plastic part and the very thin spring clip part.

Kind regards

Russell.

It'll be the greens in the green lane that caused the wind that blew off your hub centres, lucky they didn't end up in Briggies' nomadic wheelie bin!

A refuse collector is driving along a street picking up the wheelie bins and emptying them into his compactor.

He goes to one house where the bin hasn't been left out, and in the spirit of kindness, and after having a quick look about for the bin, he gets out of his truck, goes to the front door and knocks. There's no answer.

Being a kindly and conscientious bloke, he knocks again - much harder.

Eventually a Chinese man comes to the door.

"Harro!" says the Chinese man.

"Hello sir! Where's ya bin?" asks the collector.

"I bin on toiret" explains the Chinese bloke, a bit perplexed.

Realising the fellow had misunderstood him, the bin man smiles and tries again.

"No! No! Mate, where's your dust bin?"

"I dust been to toiret, I toll you!" says the Chinese man, still perplexed.

"Listen," says the collector. "You're misunderstanding me. Where's your wheelie bin?"

"OK, OK" replies the Chinese man with a sheepish grin. He then whispers in the collector's ear.

"I wheelie bin having s*x wiffa wife's sista!"

It's rather wild up here again tonight trees & fences down & even watched a bit of wheely bin 1/4 mile drag racing this afternoon:lol:lol:lol just hoping the council fitted the new ridge tiles on the roof well in May (came off last winter & just missed the T2 by 10") or I may have some new bonnet vents & poss a sunroof in the morning (that would right off the T2 for sure):doh The Son's girlfriend had a close call this morning as a 12ft trampoline flew across the road right in front of her car:eek:

the hub centres are quite expensive to replace

You're telling me - just checked my online parts guy, £37 + shipping!

First time I've ever lost one in almost two years of ownership, even when offroading :nenau

Have just taken them all off as I'm planning to fit steels over the next 12 months if not sooner. Was torn between black or silver steels but after seeing the silver alloys without caps it'll definitely be black rims!
