had to go to tescos , and couldn't find an empty disabled bay , so parked as near to the door as I could ( about 50 yds  ) .

as I got back to my car a bloke in the car next to me said " someones ran into your car and drove off " .....it seems he run into the back of my car , got out of his car to have a look , then drove off , the bloke who told me said he stunk of cannabis :augie ...... anyway he didn't get his number :( ........ I had a look at my car and it looks like the bumper took the impact and sorta sprung back .... there is a black crack on it ....... merry fuffin Christmas :(

you have to look really close to see the damage , its only a small mark , but that's not the point

Tesco may have it on one of their cameras. Worth a phone call ? You may need to report it to get an incident number for any claim on insurance.

could be the guy honestly didn't think he'd caused any damage I suppose. Of course eh should really have left a note or gone in to find you 9speak to cs to tannoy you) but hey, this is 2014 and I suppose you are lucky he didn't hang around, blame you, then rob you.

Rotten sod, hope someone catches up with him so,etime. Shame it wasnt the front cos your camera would of started recording with the impact wouldn't it?

Trouble is the damage may be minor but you'll notice it for ever and a day.

That's rotten mate!!!

I would take details of your witness and then report to the Police, you'll then get a crime number.

At this point have a polite word with the store manager and give him as precise a time scale as you can of when it happened, tell him that you understand that he won't be able to provide you with the footage but at least that way its on his radar and the footage will be there ready for the Police :)

My wife had this happen in Morrisons, she had noticed a piece of crap merc parked beside her, when she returned we had a nice scrape down the side.
We ask security if they had video...yes, but would only give it to the Police. In the end, the video footage was very poor, so nothing was done.
