If I was to hazard a guess its a divorce and she got the car?

Perhaps the owner just really hates it, I know we all do :lol

Still, 10/10 for the advert. Found this link on Facebook!

Warning - you may find a freelander.

Nooooo... Surely a T2 driver would never have "made out" with a "LandRover" driver.... is there no shame in this world..... :doh:lol

Well, for a start, "I'm very Sorry, with cherries on top, and I will buy you all a drink", but that would still barely start to cover it...:lol

... and not just any Land Rover - a Freelander!

However... I feel I should fess up... I have driven both my Mum's Discovery 3 and her Freelander 2 in the past and may on occasion have even liked it :augie (pre Trol, honest!)

I also still buy Land Rover Monthly on occasion... :hide:

I sent him this message...

Dear *sukijay*,

Hi, it's so refreshing to see an honest Landrover advert. I would just like to say a couple of things to help your potential buyers though...

Firstly, pretty much all Landrovers listed will be in a similar state, just most people who sell and buy them, accept this as the norm, and keep it as a Dirty Landrover Secret. You may find you receive hate mail from them now!

Secondly, this must be the only Landrover in the UK that has ever persuaded a lady to part with her knickers, so it must actually be a lot better than most of the others, and therefore a "Chick Magnet"... well in Essex anyway...

I wish you all the best luck with the sale.

Regards Clive

and just got this reply...

Hi, having owned Landrover's before I can honestly say I agree with your statement, this one is much, much worse than any others I have seen though!
As for it being a chick magnet I would assume that alcohol and a tower crane played a part in helping the previous owner remove the knickers from their previous owner...

Many thanks, Steve

Told you it was a divorce, I could smell it a mile off, some cheating no goodun caught red cheeked by his missus and slung out the door, she got screwed in the court proceedings which is why she ended up keeping the car :augie

I think it has been clocked 150,000 genuine miles.....
Hardly. What a Land Rover has done that many.. ?

They spend more time in the garage than on the road lol.

I recon he has fitted a drill onto the speedo cable and run it up for a month.

Probably twice the mileage it has really done...:doh
