Why on earth are you selling it after all the work you have put in, in such a short time. Surely the amount you have spent, it would be worth running it threw the winter.
I'll have the ECU if its for sale :sly

Story of my life mate. I get a car I fancy. Pour my heart and soul into it. Make it into a decent motor then decide I want something else. I think it's an actual problem I have. Lol. I'm car bonkas and always will be. At least someone gets a decent car when I sell them.

That's just naughty banshee. Hehe.
This is what's replacing it. Wanted one for ages and gotta get it out my system. But hopefully keep it for a bit. Lol.

Tell me more. I don't want to make the biggest mistake of my life.
Whatever u do please dont buy one of those, we see them cost our customers a fortune at work mate,
we had one for sale where sat nav stopped working along with cd player and parking sensors,
it cost us 3k to get that lot back and running, cant buy used electronicals as most require coding and although we have latest diagnostic equipment only volvo can code parts
Oh and yeah 3k is with our companies trade discount
personal experience dont do it
I'm starting to feel a little sad now. Lol.

Hi Guys
Still got the old girl but need to think about getting rid now, tax is up end of this month and mot due this month but i'll stick 12 months on it. Also just had a new steering bar and wheel alignment and im dropping a set of glow plugs in too over the next week or so.
I'd like £2500 for it but open to sensible offers
Cheers
Glen

Very hard to find... I can find a couple on EBay, but I have been told to stay clear of the cheap Chinese ones. So far all the other places like motorfactors, and Alternator specialist I have tried are unable to source one for me.

I have a search running on Ebay, but there is always the same 5 for sale, starting at £160(ish), but I think these are the cheap Chinese ones that you need to stay clear of.
(elgrand,23100-VE000) alternator "3.2 TD" -belt
Better off just buying my car I reckon. :-)

Sorry, I copied the search, rather than the link... here you go...
Hi power alternator (http://www.ebay.co.uk/dsc/i.html?_from=R40|R40|R40|R40|R40|R40|R40&_sop=15&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=1&_nkw=%28elgrand%2C23100-VE000%29+alternator+%223.2+TD%22+-belt&_geositeid=0&_trksid=m194&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSRCHX:SRCH)
This is a 125amp alternator, rather than the paltry 70amp one fitted as standard to the T2.
Want it to help when running on full beam.

plenty of other 125 amp jobbies about, look at the pajero one OK it has a twin pulley but can swap that, bracketry looks similar but plenty of room to remake, Rick
