Has anyone got an original patrol wheel to match this one that they would be interested in selling. I have 4 on the car and a steel spare which I want to replace. :)

Not many about but have seen a few sets of 4 being sold, just need to find two more people like us.
Kind regards
Russell.

I have just found a 2001 Patrol in a breakers in Doncaster (wherever that is!) that looks like the same style of wheel. Just got to wait for a reply to see if they will sell me just one of what looks like a full set of 5.

I'll be selling mine when I get round to picking up some steels :nenau although they're needing refurbished a bit (alloy is flaking on them)

Think 98/99 are missing the raised bit down middle of spoke, nearly purchased one by mistake a while back.
Kind regards
Russell.
Ps I guess this means the patrol is supplied with a steel spare .

You are right about the slight shape change pre 2000. There are a few for sale on ebay at the moment of the older style but the later ones rarely come up. The ones in the breakers in Doncaster (somewhere "up north" I think :augie) have all gone, and that was a full set of 5.
This is the 3rd Patrol I have had, but the first 2 were from new as Company cars - Those were the days!! They both had 5 matching alloys, so I can only assume the previous owner of the older Patrol I have now bent one and got the cheap replacement. :(

Plan B (as you always need a plan B!) have you found some good steel wheels that you could recommend? I could go down that route, particularly if they have a better negative offset to move the wheels out a bit. They would probably be cheaper that the cost of getting my alloys refurbished. :thumbs

try Tyresdirect bud, good selection of steels available there :thumbs
Remember standard spec alloys are 10 offset so 0 offset or any -ve will move the wheels out.
For reference, all spares were steel as standard (like mine is ;) ), alloy spare was an optional extra or standard at the right spec.
I've been looking for an alloy to match mine but had no luck:(

Having now sorted the tyres, I decided to stay with the original 'troll alloys. I am booked in to have them refurbished and painted black in the new year. :thumb2
This leads me back to the question of this thread - I am still looking for a matching alloy to replace the steel spare. Anyone got one since I last asked?
I got all excited last week as I saw one on ebay, then realised it was in Australia. :(

Thanks for the link. I have a permanent hook into ebay to let me know if a Patrol wheel goes on there. I have no idea why this didn't send me a message. :(
I am interested, but as you say, we need another 2 'trol owners to join in. :augie
Any takers? :nenau

you could always go forthe Std Y60 troll alloys get them refurbed in black and keep your others as spares or sell as is. this wiil save a bit of money on tyre changes alone. I could probably sort you out a set of 5 if needed.
I'm in Rayleigh Essex through the week most of the time:thumb2
BTW 0 offset

I am now the proud owner of 4 genuine 'trol alloys - slightly used :augie. I will keep one as my new spare, the others are up for grabs at £88 each. (and you will have to collect!)
I am having to drive to Nottingham, wherever the heck that is, to get them. I don't think the 'trol has ever been that far North. Do I need a passport? :augie
Just up the road from me.
Junction 26 off the M1.
No passport needed :thumb2:lol

Will they fit my Mav?
What is the rubber like?,
The tyres on the mav have been on since I bought it 4 years ago, still legal but getting a bit close to U/S so I need something a bit better for the winter
I live in Essex, your name suggest you do too,

2 wheels left with Pirelli scorpions with about 5mm of tread 265/70/16. There is a picture attached to another thread, but I can't find it at the moment.
I have no idea if the wheels will fit, but I am happy to separate the tyres if you just want them.
I am in Leigh. pm me if you want the address to come and have a look
