So my aerial was leaking.. So I stripped it apart cleaned n wd40d it and fitted a new end too.
Here some pics incase anyone wondered how it's held together, very easy, one 8mm socket on nut needed, then pull top assembly out with silver thread, strip apart n clean, then reassemble with some sealant. :thumb2

Wow... did you really think that after just 8 months of being a member of this forum you would actually be fixing your own truck, successfully wielding 8mm sockets, and making electrical connections as well.... What ever next....:thumb2

While not power, an Aerial is still an electrical connection, so now you are not only a mechanic, but an auto electrician as well...:bow:naughty
Alex mate you don't give yourself enough credit.
You where quite happy and competent with socket set yesterday:thumb2

Well, ive had a few funny experiences, I'm a bit cackhanded at times to say the least. Best one being on a day apprenticeship at a bike shop.
I got told to carry this engine to another room, it was at the time, a top of the line sports engine, what I didn't realise was, it wasn't done up.
So midway carrying it, it shat itself and fell in half on the floor, landing on the pistons ect :lol
Whoopsie :naughty :doh
