Looking for the best aftercare product, something to put a real good barrier between the paintwork and nature. Any suggestions?

I thought you liked the rugged scratched look, don't want to get to shiny.... you may want to start fitting proper bumpers and man steps again :augie:augie

I've ordered a 25l barrel of truck wash (the stuff I couldn't get hold of)
And a 5l tub of magic polish :thumbs
One coat on the bonnet has lasted about 6/7 months so far.
I just want a protective coating, not going for shiney look

Agreed, used to use it on my bikes prior to bike shows, now use it on both cars - simply the best (cue Tina Turner?) No abrasives in it, unlike T-Cut etc, just a good, hard, long-lasting shine.

How long does this last for?
I used to do mine every month , but I guess it lasts longer , the beauty is you can put it on when the car is wet
