My company car went in for its service today, 5K over due:doh

BMW said while it was in they would check it out regarding two "campaigns " they currently had running:nenau

"Campaigns " said I, "yes" thay said.

One for grommets in the drainage channels, and one for the rear diff:eek:

"Ahh" exclaimed I, "dont you mean recalls??"

"We at BMW call them Campaigns" "Sir"

Bring it back and we'll finish putting it back together properly they meant.

Turns out it's going back on wednesday for new Diff(s):nenau

Whilst i was in the show room I had a quick drool at cars I will never own.

my fave was the BMW 420d M Sport auto:bow

When they asked whenit could go back in I said I dont mind as long as my courtesy car is the 420d MSport.

Didn't happen:(

I refused a 1 series on the basis I'm 6'2" and generously proportioned:augie

So our office maager said they have offered a 225d Msport auto Coupe:thumbs

This, I said was acceptable for 2-3days, possibly running ovr the weekend:clap

Our Vauxhall Insignia had a few for minors like the tailgate rams n stupid bits.

But Fek'n'l complete rear diffs, I bet someone got their ass in a sling for that one:eek:

There's plenty for the jags. Most serious being and intercooler inlet fix.

Business tray mod, headlight mod, power steering reservoir check, spill rail check. Loads of odds n sods.

OK  So I didn't want a 1 series.
But if all they got is the 125d M Sport coupe Auto. I suppose it'll have to do for a few days.
I found the Traction control "OFF" button on my 320d so it should be in the same place on the courtesy car:sly
