chris ( plank ) wife is selling a mc culloch petrol chainsaw for £40 ... I don't know anything about it apart from the manufacturer , but its surely a bargain , if anyone is interested please pm me or ttt2 and we will pass the message on .

I have one, they are good and cost £150 new so £40 is a real bargin!

All depends on age and condition, I have one and wouldn't pay more than that for my one. :)

People travelled hundreds of miles to go to planks funeral in return i cant imagine his wife trying to sell someone on here a donkey for the sake of £40. Maybe im too trusting

McCullough are the low end of the market, B&Q specials....not as bad as £80 New Chinese chainsaws.
If it is in not bad Nick, not a bad price, make sure to run it at 25:1, I like plenty of 2t in my mix makes piston,bore and crank last a lot longer.
I use Husqvarna, Stihl or Dolmar.....my saws have to work hard for their living and they are some of my biggest investments......

I sold my Husqvarna for £50 after I repaired it and was given it for nothinh :thumbs the day after I brought my snorkel with the proceeds :)
