Known to a number on here my truck (the one in my avatar) is for sale and I am open to offers for a quick sale.

It's currently situated just south of Selby and will need trailering away. I just don't have the time to do anything with it, that and I have moved away and its on the drive of my old house and needs to be gone

There's some details and pics here - http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3485

Some spec

Registered March 2001 - one of the very last on the pre emissions banding tax rates (I bought it for that reason)

Mk3 SWB 2.7 TDi - No MOT, no Tax (SORN), done about 90k I think

Suspension - +2" suspension lift (the springs I used to sell - not just LWB springs which are too hard for a SWB) with Rough country shocks, front shocks are brand new zero miles, rears are +2" and have done no more than 2000 miles. Brand new zero miles front drop links. Steering idler brace.

Engine Bay
Set up for twin Battery but only one currently fitted.
K&N replacement filter

Tyres - four 31 x 10.5 x 15" Maxxis Buckshot Mudders done less than 2000 miles and no chunks missing from offroading etc, spare is a colway 31 x 10.50 mud tyre

Wheels - 4 split rim style Mitsubishi (L400 IIRC) alloys - these do need refurbishing but no problem for an offroader. Spare is an eight spoke "weller" style steel. (the wheels and tyres in pic in link above are not the ones on it now)

Brakes - Brand new zero miles rear brake shoes

Towbar - proper plated tow bar with electrics located on the bodywork below the nearside rear light cluster so the tow bar can easily be removed when not needed

Interior - 3 x 12" fluorescent lights, various elasticated nets for storage

Boot - racked out with plywood (for lightness) shelving for secure stowage of equipment

Electrics - there is a very comprehensive auxiliary loom fed fro the secondary battery so you can leave any of the auxiliaries on without flattening the battery. This was done by me (I used to build high end historic rally car looms from scratch and still make an occasional one) and is to a very high standard not your usual 4x4 wiring, the wiring is set up for the following.

4 bumper mounted spot lights
4 roof rack ounted spot lights
2 rear facing rack mounted reverse/work lights
1 rack mounted amber "beacon"
CB and Amateur radios
Various extra 12v circuits including, map light, LED touch screen etc
Std front driving lights rewired to a switch to work as spot lights (ie dip with main beam)
Theres probably more but its a while since I used it and tbh I can't remember

Radios touchscreen etc not included in sale.

Everything is switched, relayed and fused separated with a dedicated fuse box high up out of the way under the bonnet (will find some pics).

Roof rack - alloy roof rack sat on thule cross bars on custom fitted roof rails. The roof rails go all the way to the front of the truck unlike std Nissan ones. The rack has 4 rectangular (2 spot, 2 drive) at the front and 2 bosch driving lights at the rear In the middle it has a second spare wheel carrier fitted.

Bad Points - the EML light is on and it is down on power but will still out run a Landy 200 or 300TDi but can no longer cut it with a TD5. Those that have been out with me (if any are left here) will be able to confirm this was a quick and well handling truck on the road and was equally at home off road. I've flashed the codes and it needs a No 1 injector as the lift needle sensor in it was failed. It has been stood for a couple of years so is somewhat grubby inside and out, and the centre console needs refitting (removed to remove radios etc). It has the usual rust on the rear panel below the door.

Other than that to the very best of my knowledge everything else is mechanically just as it should be.

Spares - I have a collection of various parts for it including
The standard shocks I took off to fit rough country
A complete rear differential
Aircon pump (was going to use it as a compressor to fit on board)
Set of 4 rear suspension link bars
Steering bar, idler and I think the track rods too
There will be more, if it sells for a sensible price will throw in everything I have

I am open to offers and want it gone quick, will sell with or without the roof rack and lights, and could provide another set of wheels for transport (frontera alloys with road tyres, 16" IIRC) if someone didn't want the wheels and tyres on it. I WILL NOT BREAK it beyond that I am too far away from where it is at the moment otherwise I would be MOTing it cleaning up and selling it like that.

Not right now, am after a Quattro tdi

IIRC the two in the front are from a coach company I used to deal with, the two in the rear roof are motorcycle cargo nets, place I got them from have now closed but available on ebay, branded Oxford, I removed the metal hooks and used black P clips to hold them using special rivets for soft materials into the head lining. I forget the proper name but like these load spreading ones on eBay, item No 380807216613

As with everyone I'm looking for the best I can get for it. I figure it's worth at least £150 if I just weigh it in at the yard down the road but the wheels and tyres would get me another £250 on eBay and the rack and lights at the very least another £100 plus about the same on the suspension and the auxiliary loom I'd keep too to canabalise for other projects (I'd have charged about £800 for it if done for someone else). But as I say open to offers - 16" fronty wheels can go with it too if wanted

Get your big wallet out then banshee!! You was supposed to be sending me a couple of quid for a clutch pedal bush!! They guy wants a no nonsense deal quick. Ive put my offer in and id be there picking it up with the monies. It needs to be trailered away as it has not mot no tax and has been stood for two years so that needs to be a real consideration.

I don't know managed to just keep up with you in the Dales the last time I was down there  will never forget that day as you had to tow me as I lost all traction on the mud/grass then I nearly parked my SWB on it's side before the ford:doh Barny Zuk I think his name was managed to bend his steering trying to get up the track out of the ford & you had to recover him:thumbs but as we had lost a load of time on that lane we ended up having a mad dash across the moor roads to catch everyone up & we both managed to cook our brakes going down a steep hill chocking poor Ian with the smell of hot brakes:lol:lol:lol

I doubt I'll be doing much recovery work with the Quattro (picking it up tomorrow hopefully) or laning come to that but you never know, with a decent set of boots on smoother lanes it should be ok - you're unlikely to be able to keep up with that though - oh and I was taking it easy lol

AlexD333

She's a beauty of a truck, don't you think you'll miss her?

That was the trip that I went on, I got stuck on the same mud with my new Falcon ATs and had to hold a discovery back with his tow strap:lol

If I hadn't just bought that 05plate shed I'd of been thinking about this truck myself. Instead I think I'll be paying out and paid out enough to buy it anyway.

Sold to and collected today by big bunny, hope you have as much fun with here as I did.

Just drove the Quattro back from Middlesbrough, I think I'm going to like this car. 53 plate A6 2.5tdi 4 door Quattro in silver 119k (barely run in for one of these lumps) pulls like a train, 6 speed box too, 400 mile round trip to Birmingham to do over the weekend, will be a bit less stressful to do than in the 1.25 fiesta I've been running of late

Bigbunny2007

Hope the new car is a good one mate :thumb2
Ive run a few audis now and the missus has a A3 2.0 tdi s line now and its a great car. Today was a little rushed but ill have the kettle on Wednesday and have a chat then.
Thanks craig

Truck looks real solid and in good shape just a little green :lol It will be on the road for the winter this year, no rush as I'm busy with work and taking the caravan to France in 3 weeks so I need to spend time on my LWB to make sure its ready!!
I'll post some pics to show before and after a mini makeover :thumbs
