Arch trimming is a must for 33's & above !

I haven't body lifted any of mine even with 35's, just major arch surgery :naughty

This is what I'm planning. F and r bumps will be off. Susp lift is already done, body lift and chopping is all on the list. If I get the wheels I know what im working with :thumb2

Hey Fez, if the price is right :lol

But on a serious note, apart from arch cutting and a body lift is anything else needed? :p

creepy crawlers 35 x12.5x16's
5-6mm in the centres but that's only to keep plod happy. It's the edges and the sides that get you out of holes.

just remember the other issues, less engine power, camber, falling out the truck (done this myself on the 33's :lol )

True, true,

I will get a ladder for the mum in law :lol :augie

Can the camber be corrected via alignment?

Steering linkage will need upgrading, bearings and cv,s will wear out a lot faster.
Been on the lookout for up rated ball joints but have yet to find any.
Also looking into flipping the ball joints.
I know a lot of frontera owners do this when lifting the front end.
What I would lose or gain is questionable:nenau
Need to correct my camber as once I went over an inch at the front the camber was thrown out.
Does any one know of a kit or is a main stealer job for the shims?

I've heard you can get Mogg ball joints which are upgraded for lifts/bigger tyres, not cheap though

Also when I adjusted mine, I had to remove them but if you need to add some just grab some from cncfabs or terranobreakershropshire

You can leave all ya steering standard if you want to replace all the ball joints every month on 35's or above :roflol:

If its your only means of transport I wouldn't go over 33's ( been there, done that )

As I've said before
31's & a winch works out cheaper & gets you the same place as 33's / 35's but just have to pick a route & winch rather than just drive it ;)

Build your truck to your budget, not a dream, looks can be expensive to run :thumb2
