A friend's wife works on a newspaper and she was lucky enough to be taken up in a Tornado a few years back as part of an RAF PR exercise. The pilot demo'd the ground avoidance radar etc through the Scottish Highlands and then flew supersonic back down the coast to Lincolnshire.

Have you heard the Canadian Lanc is coming over here in August? Arrives at Conningsby to join BBMF 8th August and then goes into training with BBMF before displaying both lances together. :thumbs:thumbs
