im a keen scale model builder.it comes from my dad buying me this Lancaster kit when I was a kid and ive been fascinated since.
there is a hill local to derwent water called bleaklow.
it has got many Lancaster remains.

ive missed this legend time and time again.
and then one day it flew at no more than a thousand feet above my roof.

been to duxford , that`s a good day out
do you know where and when they`ll be flying ?
have you got somewhere to stay ?
if not your welcome to stop with us,
we have n`t got as many bedrooms as you but can make some room

Yes Iv'e seen the BB flight once,about 15 years ago, its amazing. I used to build Airfix models with my dad back in the 70s He was in the RAF during the war so could tell me all about them and used to say'' I worked on one of them"He past in 1989, but I have his medals and photos taken during the war.
I think it is in August, may take one of you up on your offer cheers,John

it would be well worth seeing,
been to the spitfire museum and the battle of Britan memorial
my dad was RAF and took him too, very good

You can sit in Just Jane for taxi runs, they'll charge you but you do get to go in one.
