Just sold one fish tank yesterday, have moved one 4 ft tank into Conservatory to conserve heat and electricity.

My 7 ft tank housed in my fish house attached to my Garage is going to change from tropical to growing on Koi in the spring.

Been keeping freshwater tropical's for 55 years but with cost of heating and pumping I am going back to one heated tank.

I only have one very small rank at moment as just getting back into the hobby but hope to get a 5/6 footer when funds allow. Will be planted. This is mine. The tank was a freebie but I had to buy all other equipmenthttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/05/emaba9um.jpg

Real but I can't remover the names they are planted in fluval substrate mixed 50/50 with Argos play sand and I'm dosing easy carb daily when I remember to. Some have died back but the bright green plants I'm having to cut back due to growth :)

Only had one brief period where I managed to grow Indian Fern so much I was selling it to the local fish shop.

It was something to do with the really soft water where I lived in Clowne in 1971-73 never repeated the success but to be fair I have concentrated on the fish instead.

Its gone very high tech now with Co2 diffusion etc.

Can't put a tank picture on tonight as I can't find the lead to connect my phone to laptop and am useless at the blue tooth transfer method.
