Wow, we have just been battered by sudden gusts of wind and rain, blew our bin down the drive, it just missed Terry

Now the road outside our house looks like a small river

sometimes it has advantages living on top of a big hill .... not much chance of flooding etc ..... but ive lost count of the times ive had to fetch the wheelybin back

We are 700 ft above sea level, also on top of a hill, actually, it's the Chiltern ridge so we do get some weird weather too

Wind has picked up some here today & we've had loads of rain, some of the smaller roads have huge puddles almost across the whole road so if it keeps up they'll flood nicely

Around 5.30 just a Maggs got home the wind picked up and I thought some the trees were going to come down, they were waving in the wind so much, now we rarely see much wind here as we are very sheltered, if the extreme tops of the trees are moving I know that as I get near the sea front it will be a gale, so what the front was like tonight I can only guess, will see tomorrow, expecting some trees down around the town, Rick

approx. 900 ft above sea level here
