Depends if your door is open -rotfl-

No, generally speaking the rubber seals keep it out. Most of water comes in because windows not fully shut or other human error.

Yeah but was'nt the water up to the bottom of your window Jace
I think the avarage ford is a lot lower than that, say 6"-18" deep :?

I had water well up the doors whilst assisting the police in Grimsby in the recent floods and the only water I've had inside even in an old 'N' reg has come in through the heater, when the drain on the intake has been overwhelmed after I've driven into deepish water fast and caused a big splash. The water come through the heater vents under the seats and if the mats are in the right place in the back collects on them.

i had to shut passenger side window (well i was sat there!) as water curling over was splashing in drivers side wasnt so bad as jeep created whole kindve mobile dam! but it bubbles up from footwells if you get in semi deep water if you look through crack in your open door into inner wing im sure itll be getting in through there!.
you can see the tide mark in some photos i found i wont be repeating water that deep unless i have to we got so far in and had no choice but to carry on or wed have lost bow wave and been looking for new engine!

Is it not more important to think about how deep the engine bay can go? I think Nissan say 450mm max. Air Intake is just behind N/S headlamp under the wing but you also have a lot of electrics in engine bay.

Agreed, my mate did some deep wather wading in his landie. Snorkel fitted so it went fine, but when the wather came through the dash, it was never the same again.
