Hi and welcome to the forum.
I would start by checking the rear propshaft UJ.
Climb underneath and grab the joint, if there is any movement it will need replacing.
I did a write up on this a little while ago in the down loads section

Check your car jack is secure, it lives in the NSR behind a small panel. Also see if the spare wheel is secure as they can come loose or wear on the mountings.

Hi again been looking on other forums with regards to the rear diff ,it seams that if it has lsd then it can be the fact that the diff oil needs replacing which I have done what came out can only be called sludge ,so I hope that by changing the oil it will make a differance .

It can come out quite sludgy, grey often.
Have you put the correct oil in?
It MUST be LSD oil, Coma do a GL5 version.
Welcome to the club.

Sorry its been some time since I last posted on here ,the dif oil has been changed and yes it was like sludge ,but been doing a bit of work on the truck firstly the paint work needed a bit of repairing mainly round the back door then I bought a 50mm lifting kit from Millners and a rear poly bush kit that is all done plus I have fitted the rear windows its had 245/70/16 tires put on its winter steel wheels A frame and spots so now it looks totally different .The noise from the back seams to have become less I have learned that it may take some time to clear 3-4 k then I will need to change it again .one thing I do know is that I will not leave it as long again before it gets a good clean and waxoil its been three years and things do deteriorate ie rust takes a hold but its sorted now .One other thing I have been looking in to is the wife runs a Honda CRV which has been a good car but when anything goes wrong it costs an arm and a leg ( millners do not cater for this car ) so we are looking for an other terrano this time a long wheel base 3.0lt of coarse and as new as possible with low mileage the thoughts behind this is 1/ 7 seats we have just adopted three kids 2/ I can service it and look after myself 3/ the wife likes driving my truck so she can have her own plus a lot of the newer 4*4 are getting so pricey crv in 2005 started at £18k now its more like £27k just can not justify that kind of out lay on a car ,any way will put up some photos when I get a chance .:lol:lol:lol

Yup, I was working for Honda for 2 years, owning a Honda is not as cheap as people may like to think.
I spent about 2250 on service bills in one year!!! And that's at staff rate :doh

You say you installed windows, I presume you mean that you converted the Van, you wouldn't by any chance happen to still have the window boards?

Just sold our Jazz, had it nearly 5 years and spend around £600 in that time. Sounds like you bought a money pit ;)

You say you installed windows, I presume you mean that you converted the Van, you wouldn't by any chance happen to still have the window boards?Sorry but to get them off was a b*****d of a job and they are only fit for scrap they fit the outer sheet which is alloy then a fiberglass sheet next which is all bonded with tiger seal then on the inside there is a steel sheet ,they must use about 3 tubes of the stuff which in the end I used an angle grinder with wire wheel to remove all the sealant so that I could then paint it and re place it with more tiger seal to refit the windows .
