Not a clever trick when you are 6 hours drive from help.
Only consolation would be at least the tide would be on it's way out by time help arrived :D

When I was in the army someone had to walk in front in 'damp' conditions to see how deep the mud/water was/is:eek:, looks like that is not the norm here:doh

Must be a set up :o There were other tracks across the water just a tad further on from where he went in :doh
The recovering truck could easily have tied himself onto the ruddy great trailer thing behind him and used the winch for a good controled recovery. Snatch my arse , muppets :o:flush:

I got that sort of feeling, but it's hard to say how other people would react when your expensive truck is about to get wet from a incoming tide. :lol
Apparently his brake line went so thats why he couldn't winch, But he could of attached the stuck vehicle to the back of his truck then winched from the tree. :thumbs
