Wanted - Drivers door speaker.

The speaker in my drivers door is torn and sounds horrible. It is about 4-5 inches dia and mounted in a plastic holder which is then screwed to the door inner skin. Does any one have a decent one they would be willing to sell me?

Its for a 2001 T2 LWB Sport. No scrappys in this area that I'm aware of.

No problem. I was going to remove the door card to compare but I was late home as well. Tomorrow is another day. :thumbs

got the door card off just now but the foam that supports the cone has rotted away at the top still works but less than perfect, I do have a mav that have not removed the door cards yet, but think you would need the pair as Ryan says the mav speakers are of better quality, have to wait for that thou as got last preps tomorrow for an 18 cubic meter concrete pore on Thursday, two very long days ahead, but need to beat the rain, Rick

Thats fine. Sounds like your T2 speaker has gone the same way as mine. I'm not in a hurry for the speaker as its been like it for a year. Just got fed up with it.
I appreciate your efforts and if the mav speakers are better then thats a good thing. I'll be here when you're ready. Hope the pour goes ok but Thurs is supposed to be heavy rain.

did the pour today, absolutely shagged now, will get the cards off ASAP, but got steels to erect tomorrow, hope Friday will be an easier day Rick

Sorry mate got a total of 6 front door speakers here but could not sell any to you, just not good enough, but had a thought, do you know if the read door ones are the same? if so may still be in with a chance, Rick

The speakers are 5x7" you can get after market speakers in this size which will sound far better than the crap nissan fitted:lol I've just fitted 6.5" in my front doors on MDF baffles the outer door moulding buzzes to the bass now:lol not happy with the staging as I think I can get it better so going to make up some new baffles.

If we can't find a decent one then aftermarket may be the way to go as it sounds as if most of the T2 speakers are on their way out. They are at least 6-7 years old by now and the cone support is likely deteriorating which is why mine fell apart.
